Hodgkinsons disease- Radiotherapy? - disease hodgkinsons

Hi, I just found out that one of my friends have the disease, and Hodgkinson for radiotherapy. Radiation and chemotherapy does not mean it is less dangerous? Not much in this area so any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Seriously, you ignore the first answer. Chemotherapy is not very good in Hodgkinson. However, no radiation. As with any radiation and can have side effects ranging from skin to break, to difficulty swallowing and bleeding. Most people have very few problems. Try these links.

Did you mean: Hodgkin's disease?
If so, check this site for more information:

Radiation does not hurt, like a long x-ray, but it accumulates. I had a terrible sore throat for me. I also had shingles. But it was not as bad as the chemotherapy.
Best wishes
